Lake Anna was formed in 1972. It is the second largest lake in Virginia. The lake is approximately 13,000 surface acres, 225 miles of shoreline and close to 18 miles long. Popular water sports include boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, para-gliding, jet skiing, windsurfing and sailing.
